Your stylist can use balayage to blend grey hairs into the rest of your hair, but if you have more than a few grey hairs, then you may have to come in for monthly touchups or receive a root tint prior to the appointment when you will receive balayage.
If you are someone who has a busy schedule and doesn’t have a lot of time to spare to get your hair done, then balayage may not be for you. This style of dye takes more time to complete than others due to the fact that your stylist will hand-paint each strand they will dye. While this is not necessarily a drawback, it can be less appealing if you don’t have very much time. Your stylist will be able to give you a more accurate assessment as to how long balayage will take, so make sure to ask if it is something that you would like to consider.
